Translations can be delivered as MS Word files or can be converted to Adobe PDF. We can receive and deliver your documents by fax, courier, post or e-mail. Work is provided as hard copy and/or on disk as required. 24-hour translation service is available.

NOTARISATION AND CERTIFIED TRANSLATION SERVICES

We are able to certify our translations and can arrange for notarisations to be carried out on your request. For legal purposes we also offer a range of options for certification. These include:

Certified translation	attached to Certificate of Accuracy, signed by the translator
Sworn translation	Affidavit sworn before a Solicitor/Commissioner for Oaths
Legalised translation	Affidavit sworn before a Notary Public and legalised by Apostille at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office

HOW LONG DOES A TRANSLATION TAKE?

A daily turnaround: A translator can produce an average of 2,000 words per working day. The current norm could be 50% higher than this word count, as with dictaphone, secretarial support and other back-up facilities some translators achieve much higher production rates.
Rush or over-night work is possible, and carries a 30% - 50% surcharge. However, a hurried translation is rarely as good as one where the translator has time to think over his/her work.
Larger projects: can be split between two, or more, translators. These are then managed as a team to ensure consistency of terminology and style. The advantage is a reduction in turn-around time.

HOW MUCH WILL A TRANSLATION COST?

Pricing: Prices are normally assessed according to 1,000 words or equivalent of source language (i.e. the language from which the work is commissioned).
Surcharges: These may include extra speed, e.g. a rapid turnaround (10%+), special delivery (e.g. courier), sophisticated presentation, etc.
Discounts: Discounted rates are available for assignments exceeding 4,000 words.
